The next day following the croquet we were thrilled to be the selected charity for the annual Charity T20 Cricket Match between Usk Cricket Club and the Newport Dragons Rugby Team. Another brilliant day. The cricket was brilliant with the Dragons securing an excellent, slightly controversial win over Usk! Another auction with some very fine prizes (thank you to everyone who donated including Dragons, Mike Smith for his painting, Thomas Carroll for the Golf Day) and to Chepstow Round Table for the Bouncy Castle, The Bug Club for playing for us into the evening, Glitter Tattoos, Darron Jones and many others from Usk CC, Ellie for running her very successful cake stall and all those who supported and especially those who took a table in the hospitality marquee. A fantastic total of £2500 Raised – well done all concerned and thank you so much.
